What is Sunday Car? Sunday Car is for Sundays, non-working holidays and/or special events. It is not your working or utility car. Remember Lionel Richie’s song Easy…’‘Easy like Sunday morning’? Sunday car should fit in that mood. It is not your number coding alternate vehicle (if number coding is imposed). It does not mean ultra luxury or luxury. A customized vehicle can be a Sunday car. Volkswagen Beetle or modified Honda Fit, can be your typical Sunday Car. Most of the Sunday cars are vintage. Per Google search, vintage car is more than 10 year old upon the issuance of the model. Based on logic by deduction, Sunday Car is likely your oldest and 3rd car.
Sunday car is only for mobility enthusiast or auto engineers who wants to tinker. No need to maintain one, otherwise.
